If you’re in the market for a fresh set of wheels to transform your commute from Brockton to Taunton, you’ll have a wide range of vehicles to explore. While you may be drawn to the savings that come with buying a used car, you may also have a longing for the quality of a brand-new vehicle. If you find yourself between this proverbial rock and a hard place, a Honda Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) model may be exactly what you need! Honda offers three CPO classifications to make it easier to find a model that suits your budget and wishlist. Review our car buying tips below to learn more about shopping for a CPO Honda!

What is a Honda Certified Pre-Owned Model?

When you shop for a used Honda, there are actually four distinct categories from which to choose. These include: used, HondaTrue Used, HondaTrue Certified, and HondaTrue Certified+. While all of the vehicles that fall into these categories have had at least one previous owner, the quality of each used model is not equal.

The difference between standard used and CPO models is the fact that CPO vehicles are held to higher standards and come with warranty backing and other benefits. This is why CPO models are so popular on the Fall River streets since you can enjoy pre-owned savings in a like-new vehicle!

HondaTrue Certified vs. HondaTrue Certified+: What’s the Difference?

Used Honda models are subjected to rigorous background checks and must pass a stringent 182-point inspection to earn their HondaTrue classification. When you compare HondaTrue Certified vs. HondaTrue Certified+, you see many similarities. However, the HondaTrue Certified+ program offers greater coverage and newer vehicles. Take a closer look at the benefits and requirements for both programs here:
